Planning Codes

This node allows you to add a customized versions of codes and map them to Planning page.

Add a Code

  1. Click the Add button
  2. In the Add Record window in the Code field, enter a code number as you would want it to display on the Planning page. This is a required field.
  3. In the Code Name field and Description field, enter the name for the code and a description respectively. This shows for reference in the Admin Panel only. These are required fields.
  4. Select a code type from the Type drop-down. Based on the selection here codes will be available for selection in the Planning page.
  5. Click the Save button.

Edit a Code

  1. Select a code and click the Edit button
  2. Update the code and click Save

Delete a Code

  1. Select a code and click the Remove button

Import to Excel

To import a saved Excel spreadsheet of codes

  1. Click the Excel button and select Import
  2. If you do not already have a spreadsheet with the codes information saved, you can click Download Sample Excel to obtain a template with all the required columns. If you have already filled out a spreadsheet, click Browse to locate the file on your computer.

  3. Click Send.

Tip: Download the Sample Excel sheet and use it to populate planning codes. It consists of valid columns.

Export to Excel

  1. Click the Excel button and select Export to Excel
  2. A Planning Codes Excel report is downloaded to your system.

Note: The DefaultType column in the exported Excel report has the following values assigned to identify the code type 1: Phase, 2: Task, 3: Activity, 4: Expense,5: Client Level 1,6: Client level 2,7: Client level 3, 8: Vendor.
